Calliope House was written in 1984 by Dave Richardson, while he played with the ever-changing lineup of 'Boys from the Lough'. The tune quickly became part of the traditional canon; I learned it in a session in the North of England, many years ago. In this arrangement, I changed the key to G major and added some syncopation in the left hand. Intervals of a tenth may be tricky for harpists with small hands, but these can be substituted for an octave, or even just the single lowest bass note of each pair.
